This Billboard Music 2012 comes with many surprises. Because Adele has a big shot in the last Grammy's, she is also nominated for this awards. Foo Fighters has also a shot for this awards because of winning multiple Grammy awards in the last Grammy's.
Top 100 Finalists: As usual the nominees are the songs that are popular and more pop-ish, Maroon 5 feat Christina Aguilera for "Moves Like Jagger", Pitbull feat. Ne-Yo, Afrojack & Nayer for "Give Me Everything", LMFAO feat. Lauren Bennett and Goonrock for "Party Rock Anthem", Adele in her "Rolling in The Deep", and Katy Perry feat. Kanye West for "ET".
Top Artist: Adele, Katy Perry, Lil Wayne, Lady Gaga, Rihanna. Pop-ish again?! (Sorry for the criticising.) But everytime their are awards that are happening in the US except for Grammy's, the nominated are always Pop-ish or R&B Artists? I only bet for Adele and Rihanna. Adele is the only one that is performing in a world-class level. I also bet Rihanna because Coldplay featured her in "Princess Of China." That what Coldplayers think. :))
Top New Artist: Foster The People, Bad Meets Evil, Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa and Scotty McCreery. I don't know Big Sean at all (sorry I'm not fond in the pop-ish genre). Foster The People, I absolutely know them but I don't like their kind of music because their Music are very oldies. But my fear is Foster The People are one of the biggest competitors of Coldplay in these three awards in the Billboard Music Awards. Bad Meets Evil, only a combination of Eminem and Royce da 5'9", not a new artists at all. Scotty McCreery, he won in the last American Idol, that's why he became famous.
Top Billboard 200 Album: "21" by Adele, "Christmas" by Michael Bublé, "Take Care" by Drake, "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga, "The Carter IV" by Lil Wayne. Adele's album, "21," is a world class. "Christmas" by Michael Bublé, I don't know it at all. "Take Care" by Drake, honestly I don't like Drake (Sorry again to criticise, this is only my opinion), heard Drake's voice and it's like, putting an ordinary talking voice into a rhythm and add it a background Music and blend it together. Lady Gaga and her album, she is currently in her Asian Tour, with her 24 million little monsters, that made her nominated in the category. "The Carter IV" by Lil Wayne, I heard one of the songs of the album titled, "Mirror" feat. Bruno Mars. Surprisingly, the lyrics are meaningful.
Top Touring Artist: Bon Jovi, Taylor Swift, Take That, U2, Roger Waters. In these nominees, the one that I only know is Taylor Swift, Taylor Swift has a lot of Swifties out there in her concerts worldwide. I think Coldplay should be one of the nominees because in their concerts, there is Xylobands, a butterfly confetti(s), and a Coldplay that performs just absolutely right, making a concert blends just good for me.
This year is the awards that Coldplay is nominated for Top Duo/Group, Top Rock and Top Alternative Artist. Their usual competitors are Foster The People and Foo Fighters.
